We will be heading to WDW in Jan. for the 1/2. Wish we could go in Dec. AND Jan!

We are getting closer to this event. I've requested the days off which means the percentage of me coming out is much higher. I also plan on starting a T-shirt design for these soon.

For the record, we have no wish to compete with our Grandmaster Sub himself on meet-ups.... it just turned out that ours was planned around the Marathon events before we learned of this one, and we can't do December anyway for other reasons even if it weren't for that. So I guess the way to look at this is not as two competing events, but rather two opportunities for Subbers to meet and greet. If you can't make one, you might be able to make the other!

Sub, we would really be honored if you could put in an appearance at ours as well, but we understand if you can't... especially since you'll already have just been there a few weeks before. But I would love to see the T-shirt designs. Might even order one to wear at our event in your honor!

Oh, I don't think of things as competition. The main reason of this meetup was that acp will be visiting from England. He's been a long time online friend, supporter and admin of this site. I've been wanting to meet him for some time now. I don't make it out to WDW much, it's definitely a haul from the west coast.

I hear ya! We weren't able to go last year, but once we saw another opportunity arose and it was in January (can't make it in Dec. due to work) we knew we had to make the effort.

Hope to see some pics of the meet-up though!

Too bad the first day is 2 days after Amy leaves...
