Sad news - No more Subsonic Radio

It's finally happened. 7 years later. Disney has sent the Cease and Desist letter informing me that Subsonic Radio is in direct copyright infringement of the Disney Corporation. I was amazed to find out that unless I cough up $72,293.45 dollars by May 1st more legal measures will need to take place. That is, unless I shut down the site. Of course, you all know that Subsonic Radio doesn't make money but they feel that this is how much Disney has lost in revenue for users not actually paying for the music they listen to here. I simply don't have this kind of money.

So, it's with regret that today will be the last day of Subsonic Radio. It's been a wonderful 7 years. We've put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the site.

We will continue to have the chat but the entire site will no longer exist after today.
