I don't have an account and there is no way for me to get it to open in iTunes to pull the URL off of it.disneyMnG wrote:ports 6000, 6008, 6010, and 6020 don't work for me. the "pete server" of dtuneslive works for me here at work. what port is the "pete server" coming through? you have to request access in order to hear it. when it first pops up, i have to enter my registered dtuneslive username and password, but then it plays.

I cannot listen at work. Even when you had the 800 port, it still didn't work. The nazis who run this joint are ruthless, but if my vote helps get other people to listen then it is worth it.
I just need to get an iphone so I can stream off AT&T's network and stick it to the man!

I have no problems at Work either. We don't block streaming content. Of course I am the Network Admin. lol.
However, it would be curious to know if this works at my wife's work. She works at a Hospital and they block just about everything. Her boss finally was able to give her access to get on the internet.

Usually most colleges allow you to stream. I know my brother has issues with his school, bit Rutgers is good. Just make sure you stay within your bandwidth limit.

Yeah I know that at my high school, they block EVERYTHING. No youtube, no yahoo, not even google maps or calender. Its so weirdJacca5660 wrote:That's the case at most colleges.Len90 wrote:That might be because your school is blocking port 8000 but not 6000. I believe dtunes is on 6000 while subsonic is on 8000. I know that Rutgers has yet to block any ports, but they do limit you on your bandwidth. If you hit the limit, they temporarily suspend your internet privileges.disneyMnG wrote:that's the problem for me. i'm a school teacher and it's no-go for listening at school. must be something about schools! dtuneslive works fine.
