Small meet this weekend of Jan 16th

There's something about when Dr. Ravenscroft comes to visit where I feel compelled to see him. Perhaps it's because he's such a strange guy but friendly and social. Perhaps it's just his hair. Anyways, he's going to be in town if people want to meet up with him.

As far as me, I'm going to meet up with him in the afternoon this Sunday. If people would like to meet up with us everybody is welcome!

Oh, now I really hope to go on Sunday. I did talk with Dr. Ravenscroft a bit about it on Facebook but I don't have a sure confirmation. I haven't been to a meet in a long while and I didn't stay long the last time so I hope this will be different.

Well in any case, yes I will be out there and Sunday seems to be turning into a big event. Originally I was just trying to have friends meet me throughout the weekend, but everyone has decided that Sunday is the best day to do it, interesting that you would all pick that day (something in the water?).

elizabethswann, you do realize that Sunday now will not be a good day to photowalk.....just saying

I will get in touch with you tomorrow after I land, which I am now taking a flight 30 minutes earlier than originally planned due to complications. I now arrive in the are 3 hours earlier (strange ain't it).

If anyone wants to meetup on a day other than Sunday just PM me and I will get back to you as soon as I see it.

Well, it was a dud anyways. It rained. Family was sick. I didn't go.

Sucks, I miss hanging with Ravenscroft. Next time bud!

I was curious to know what would happen with that meet when I heard about the wicked weather that was going on in Southern California. Hopefully you will all have better luck next time.

So I should probably comment on all of this since I WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT SHOWED UP!!!!

Yes it rained during the mid afternoon to early evening but it cleared up nicely around 9pm-9:30pm right when the Fire works should have been getting ready to go, but they didn't due to weather (witch was a lie, it was due to attendance).

I should revise the I was the only one there. There were actually 3 of us there for a while, Cosmic_commando (from our site) and Kyle Burbank of The Disneyland Gazette ( http://www.podbean.com/podcast-detail?pid=60706 ) other than that......

hahaha. Don't worry Sub, I'm just joking with you. It was raining pretty heavy at times, but that just gave us more time to hang out indoors at restaurants and rides. We hung out in the Golden Horseshoe on the second floor and watched the shows for a while. Went on Haunted Mansion a few times in a row and got to ride Down and Up in the stretching rooms thanks to an awesome CM.

Later we decided to go over to DCA to watch the last Aladdin show of the day and got good seats in the Mezzanine section. Then we went around to Midway Mania and played a few rounds. Then back to Disneyland to ride IASW Holiday and get some dinner. Then the parks decided to "close early due to inclement weather and the continued forecast of inclement weather" ARGH!

Isn't it creepy seeing the room "shrink"? Not to mention the silence...
