Can't wait to see more pictures. I am definitely jealous I couldn't go. So has DL10 been planned yet? I might be able to go if I have a 5 year warning on it!

I've started posting some pics to my flickr account. there are only a few group shots there at the moment, from Friday night at the Jazz Kitchen.

I also hit one of the billy hill shows today and took some pics I'm in the process of uploading as I speak.

I would love for it to be an annual event. On the banner on the homepage, it says there's another meet in eleven months so my guess is that they're preparing for the next one.
I saw that too. I need to open an account at the bank and call it DL Meet instead of a Christmas Club account :) so I can make the next meet!

Yes please do a meet in Disney World! How about after Hurricane season around the time of the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival? Living in Miami I will be in the "cone of death" for a good part of the summer and early Fall, so we never go anywhere during that time. And besides October/November is so beautiful at the parks!

Glad you all had fun. I love anything Disney! Thank you sooooooo much Sub for your wonderful, awesome, website. I get my Disney fix everyday while at work.

See Ya!

OMG, Sunday was so fun - I absolutly loved meeting all of you (and Dade looks just like Adam, lol) :) This should totally be an annual event - it was one weekend I shall never forget. Thanks for getting us all together, it was nice being able to put actual names to faces. :) - blue

I hope the next gathering will be at WDW as well. It will be much easier for me to attend one on the east coast.

OK So update #2 for day two.....I won't go into the details of who left and who stayed because frankly we had too many people to remember everyone's coming and goings. Seriously you try to keep track of close to 20 childre........um, I mean adults, yeah that's the ticket. Any who second day start like thus:
We all gathered at the last A in California (which probably won't be there the next trip we all make so we need a new location) at 11am, then it was off to the Blue Bayou for lunch, most of the group had the Monte Cristo , but 2 of us, myself included, got the salmon....twas good. After lunch we decided that since we had two kiddies (actual kids not just Subsonic, and Bluebayougirl acting like kids........zing) we should do something kid oriented, so off to Winnie the Pooh. After the most exciting ride in the parks (can you smell the sarcasim?) half of the group decided to go on Splash Mountain because the wait time was 5 minutes, while some of the group took the kids back on Pooh. And Subsonic, Cosmic Commando, and myself stood on the bridge over splash waiting for them all.

After splash we headed over to the DLRR (Disneyland Rail Road) for A TRIP AROUND WALT DISNEY'S MAGIC KINGDOM........BOOOOOOARD!!!! we got on at New Orleans Square rode it all the way around the park once then got off at Mickey's Toon Town Station so we could go to It's A Small World. Half the group went on IASW and the other half went on the Matterhorn. After these two rides more of the group split off, and the bulk of us, no that wasn't a fat joke directed towards subsonic......hehe (seriously he is more of a stick than I am), went to DCA for a little while.

In DCA (Disney's California Adventure) we went to Monster Inc., Animation's Zoetrobe, which I have to say is friigin awesome, then to ToT (Tower of Terror) for the fastpass return......yeah I know for the people that HATE Fastpass like myself this was sad, but rest assured that I did not partake in said fastpass. After ToT the group went to Screamin' over California, and this was the last ride before we headed off to DL again.

Back in Disneyland we headed to French Market for Diner. After dinner while we were still sitting at the FQ we presented Subsonic with a gift for his many years of hard work to keep this site up and running. He can tell you about what he got, but lets just say he was happy. After Dinner we took a Jungle Cruise......and I will tell you it doesn't get funnier than a bunch of rowdy Disney Fans basically taking over the boat. After the fun cruise around the jungle and seeing the backside of water, We lost some more of the group this time it was the little ones, they needed some sleep so they left and we trekked over to The Tiki Room for a good show. After the Birds singing words and the Flowers crooning we headed over to tomorrowland for Star Tours. This was the last ride for our intrepid leader (subsonic) said his goodbyes, the subette was still shopping.......think he need to put a halt to that.....hehehe. So then there were 6.

We went on Buzz for a good old fashioned score war, hehehe I think I won......not totally sure but I think I might have. and headed to the Matterhorn for then to Space Mountain for Fastpass redemption. Since we lost so many in the group there were enough Fastpass' for everyone that went to go twice, again I didn't not participate. We the group reformed we went over to Indy and walked right on....I like doing that. We didn't fill the entire car like we did the day before but we did fill half of it. Around this time we broke up again into two groups of 3 this time. Not sure what the others did but I can tell you what Happyfunball, Cosmic Cammando, and myself went on all the Fantasyland Dark rides. We started with Peter Pan because the line didn't look too bad, then went on Mr. Toads, Pinnochio, and finally Snow White. That was fun and short, short enough we went on POTC (Pirates Of The Caribbean) one final time before we all called it quits.

And that my friends was the second and final day of the SubsonicRadio DL5 gathering. I hope you enjoyed our story today, hehe

Awesome pictures Dr. Ravenscroft! I think that Splash picture is just hilarious. Can you list the order in which everybody is sitting in the log?
