What I was getting at, is for people who don't constantly visit the site if you're a google reader or RSS person you can keep up-to-date that way.

I think one of the main problems is that if you login to make requests then logout, it still marks all your posts as read. :( I eventually have to fix that. PHPBB wasn't really made to be ported into websites.
