New Chat Servers !!

Hi everyone,

Starting this Saturday, Oct 4, subsonicradio will have its own irc servers! We are currently using accessirc.net for our chat, but will switch over to irc.communicore.org.

So you are saying what does this mean to me? Well, if you use the web client on subsonicradio.com, not much since it will be a seamless transition. Just go to the chat link and join.

If you use a client, like mirc, xchat, trillian, etc, you will need to change the server you connect to. Change that setting to irc.communicore.org. The channel name (#subsonicradio) is staying the same.

We will monitor the old server and prod people over, so if this doesn't make sense no worries, we will help you out.

A special thank you to CHaiNS for setting up the servers, and donating a server and bandwidth need to run one of the servers.

PS: One other quick note about the chat. Please be respectful of others in the room, also keep the conversations PG rated. This way everyone can enjoy the chat. We do monitor the chat, but we can't be in there 24/7 so be on your best behavior

One of these days I'll go into the chat again! I know I went during Quickgold's last broadcast but soon I'll come around again. I had a lot of fun last time.

Another note, if you know of any other disney chat rooms please let us know. We want to make communicore.org the main chat server for Disney chats.
