I read the news today: Ollie Johnston died yesterday.

I remember watching the documentary about Frank and Ollie. Whenever I heard or saw references about them (for instance, they have cameos in the movie Iron Giant), I would point them out, "Hey! Frank and Ollie!" It is sad to hear that Ollie passed away. Now there are no more of the Nine Old Men left.

Definitely the end of an era. He certainly had an impressive and influential life, though.

i wish there was a way of just knowing when people will die so we can tell them how great they are and how they impacted us.
