Darn.

I don't have enough points to request over an hour.

Yet 8-)

More on topic, I'm completely happy to go with the flow and it does seem like a fair system to me.

This is fine. This should keep the request down. I know I only request once in a while though I plan ahead and I request before I go to work so in 1:30 I can hear what I want right when I get to work

are we going to fix it for the non-peak time (like midnight-8am est) like we discussed in the forum before?

otherwise, i'm fine with the change.

I think this will work fine and sounds fair. I like the idea of having an hour during the peak time, then once that plays requesting another hour this way no one is "hogging" the time.

Great job guys on getting the system up and running! Yippie! Yahoo!

As of right now we are testing it on a 24hr basis. Since we don't have a way to test what is peak and what is not peak, implementing the limiter on a 24hr basis provides a fair playing field for all.

If it is during a non peak time you can just go in after some of your requests have played and queue up more tracks.

Also if you stop by chat, during an off peak time, I will be more then happy to queue up some tracks for you.

Off-peak likely varies by timezone too. ;)

in "off-peak" times if youre the only one then as soon as one is done you can request more. This is a great method. This way if someone else comes on during your set they can still get their songs in.

One of the great things about this site is the diverse tastes of the individual requesters. There are so many things I hear each day that I never would have thought to request. So, thank you all for the diverse requests each of you make each day.

Can this be suspended on early (9AM) Sunday mornings (EASTERN)? There is usually no one playing anything then and I play about 2:30 worth of music. I drink my coffee, read the paper, and listen to SUB.

i'm on during 9am on sundays sometimes! the queue is usually full, though, with resort tv or something. so sometimes i don't request. yzf has a good point, you can always add more and if no one is around it won't get in the way of your requests. if people are around, then the system is working, i guess.
