Now Playing Page Update

Post by Subsonic Radio » Oct Thu 11, 2007 1:43 pm

Due to popular demand Subsonic Radio has now added two new features to the now playing page, and the stand alone now playing page
  • The time the track is to be played - no more whipping out your calculators!!
    Total Queue Time
Please note: these play times are based off of the server play time. Internet lag and stream buffering will cause delayed results. Also the default time zone is PST. Once you log into the site the playtimes will be adjusted to your time zone. Just be sure to set your correct time zone in your profile. For questions on how to do so, please ask, and we'll be happy to help.

Enjoy

Great work on the changes. Now I can actually figure out when a request is going to play without having to add up all the times together! :)

Its not a Firefox or IE issue.

Sounds like you might want to bump up your monitor's resolution, or just buy a new monitor :)

The screen resolution would have to be less then 960 wide for it to get cut off like that.

Amazing work! Thanks for having the actual Time it will be played, and it's really cool that the time will switch over to your time zone once you log on. Thanks to anyoen and everyone who helped put this together!

i just looked at the now playing list and the timer on the bottom was gone...is it only up when there is a long wait, or is it supposed to be there 24/7?

Wow, very cool feature. Since I mostly listen overnight (er, overnight in NA) I don't run into the 'requests off the bottom of the queue' thing too often but the times I've been on during the day I can definitely see how it'd be really helpful. It's also kind of cool to see how long the server lag is. *nerd*

Thanks for all the great work! :D

That's great!
But...
for those who are "far far away", the time The time the track is to be played don't mean anythig...

For example here it's 11:51 AM...
