I broke down and bought the DVD a few days ago, I'll let you all know how it is when I see it.

I got the Extinct Attractions Club's ATIS DVD, but the ride through portion is so dark that beside the load and unload portions of the ride, you only see a brief glimpse of the giant snowflakes, the flashing nucleus, and the big eye at the end. The rest of the DVD was good though.

It will be nice to have a clear view of what's going on.

The DVD arrived today and it's pretty incredible. It looks a heck of a lot better on TV than it does in the little clips that you can download on the web site.

I just wish that in the scene where you go from giant snowflakes to infinite molecules, the "honeycomb" that you pass through was a little brighter so you could see it better. But maybe it was that dark in the ride. It's not like I can remember what it was really like.

It's an excellent DVD. Money well spent.

I wound up buying this DVD. I got it last night. The ride through is really cool. Steve did a great job of getting every detail of this ride. If you are a ATIS fan I would suggest getting this. My only complaint is that there's not enough on it. For all the information he has on his site he didn't put any of that in. Which would have been nice. Especially the blueprints he has.

To sum up if you have some bucks you feel like burning or are a big ATIS fan get it. If you wrestle with spending a dollar on a candy bar, don't.

I have never seen this ride before. actually Ive never been to Disneyland...my friends are going this year but Im holding out for WDW early in 2012...someday I will walk where Walt walked :)...by the way did the narrator of the inner space ride lend his voice to The Haunted Mansion as well?

From what I have read, Paul Frees did indeed narrate both of these attractions for Disney.
You say you've never been to DL, have you been to WDW before?

Oh, ok, I wasn't sure from your post if you hadn't been to DL or both DL and WDW!! If you have managed to get there every year since, I would say you are doing ok :D
