Save the Peoplemover - Sign the Petition!

G2-4T has used his powers for good. He has taken the time to put up a dedication site for saving the Peoplemover as well as put up an online petition that I expect you ALL to sign.

The PeopleMover opened in Disneyland in 1967. The track was extended to pass through the new Space Mountain in 1977. The PeopleMover closed permanently in 1995.

On March 21, 1996, Disneyland announced that the slow PeopleMover will be replaced by a fast new attraction, Rocket Rods, as part of a complete renovation of Tomorrowland. Rocket Rods opened in 1998 and closed in 2000. A short 2 years for a "Wowless" attraction. For 6 years now nothing has moved on the elevated tracks above Tomorrowland.

Peoplemover portrayed "A world on the move" with futuristic trains moving around the land.

Please, let's get Disney's attention that something is needed again on those tracks.
