Ok, so this morning all my requests I wanted to hear were red so I did some skimming through and picked quite a few 2 min ones, but then I came across macho duck...LOL, now if that doesn't send me back to the disco days nothing will..ha ha ha I couldn't resist requesting it. Since everyone is off site today I think I will get my disco groove on while no-one is in the office. let me clear the conference room floor...... now if only my John Travolta would show up in his white polyester suit 8) woo hoo!
"A Very Merry Un-Birthday To You!"
I'm sure that's not the only reason you want John Travolta to show up!
WOoo
It's been a few weeks now with the extended time. Most of the feedback has been positive and I definatly think the playlist has been more interesting.

You are 100% correct on John Travolta
And I haven't minded the extended time frame. So far I have enjoyed the playlist, some of the things I have never heard before, but then it could be cause John and I have been dancing in my dreams, and I just wasn't listening....LOL

I think that the change has been great dude. One minor complaint:
It'd be great if there were some sort of countdown timer for requests. I know you don't like people waiting to request a song at the exact moment it becomes available, so maybe it could just say "3 Days Left" "2 Days Left" "1 Day Left" "Less than 1 Day Left"
Reason why this would be nice is because with the new request changes I find myself checking the same songs all the time to see if they are available yet. If there were this kind of countdown system we wouldn't have to check as often, yet it would be vague enough that people couldn't ambush the song the moment it becomes available.

Rudekick, in another post, I have gone back on my previous statement and realized I don't see a downside to showing how long until a track can be rerequested. It's in my to-do list.
