Actually, I wasn't too sure about this new system at first, but I hardly notice a difference. There's a few new songs that I've never heard, but I still all hear songs I like :)

Nice additions and I am sure we'll all adjust and learn to love new tracks equally. Variety is the spice of life, eh?!

Subsonic - now that you've given it some time with the *around 4 days* - how's it working out? I would just like to say that I'd really like to see it changed to *around 3 days*. Because of the timing of it all, I'm lucky if I get to hear what I really want every 5+ days and that's because I happened to be at the right place at the right time when it showed up on the playlist. What do you think?

I agree with Cheshire Cat, I think randomness would be useful just to prevent replay. I don't think I could stand waiting over half a week.

As long as it isn't like the stupid Ipod random function. That thing keeps playing songs from the same group whenever I use it. Like Metallica, counting crows, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, Metallica, etc.

What are others people's thoughts so far? Overall, the complaints are minimal. It's mostly people who are sad they can't requiest their favorite track all the time.

I like the new found variety, it has been a long time since I heard some of these and just looking at the playlist right now I see stuff from all corners of the Disney relm, far more than it used to be. I like the new lesser heard tracks being played more often. Even if you knocked it down to 3-ish days I think you'd still have the better rotations. Before it was starting to get to be the same tracks requested over and over and a lot of other stuff just never got played. So I'd say it is a real positive change...

ok, so i am going to rock the boat a little bit. i do agree with everyone that more rotation is great, but is there a comprimise somewhere. i saw in the string above that due to limited listening time it may be a month until you can hear that favorite track you just can't live without. i have been paitently trying out this new format and i have to say i am a bit dissapointed. right now i am listening to the dick tracy show. this is not my cup of tea, an i used to be in park shows myself. the last 2 times i have been listening to some of the more abscure things and hear almost none of the attraction audio. if i had my way (which i don't because i don't pay for the site hosting and or bandwith usage) i would consider a couple possible solutions....

1) offer 2 stations, 1 that has everything and a 2nd that has attraction audio only

2) 1 or 2 times a day for an hour (maybe at noon and 8pm for example) your jukebox can generate the most requested tracks. how to do that i don't konw, but i am sure there is a way, like in itunes that your player or generator can look at the play list numbers and pull up the top plays automagically!

ok, that's enough of my time.

thanks again for listening to me.

2 stations is a lot of extra bandwidth we really don't have unfortunetly. I wish we had unlimited bandwidth, ohh what we could do... 8)

how much is does the bandwidth cost? maybe we can do listener supported donations....

what about a podcast, where each show we focus on an attraction, including it's back stories, que music attraction sound, ride through (live) and area music if available. i would love to help on something like this.

I'm a little late on seeing this. But I agree with most people who have already posted. But will always play by the rules. Good song additions too :)

I like the new rotation setup. You do hear a lot obscure things, but that is what Disney is about. There is something for everyone! Perhaps G2-4T has something in making the wait only 3 days, with a 4 day rotation if you only listen on the weekdays or only weekends you may go a long time before your favorites come up and you just so happen to be listening. Also the requested songs should be left in the random rotation of unrequested songs so you may get an extra treat if your lucky, (I don't know this may already be the case).

At any rate, I don't think we need 2 stations or anything like that. Just a little patience to see how this works and let Sub tweak it where he thinks necessary to keep this the best Disney site on the web.

I like MouseMan's idea about 3 days. 4 days is over a week if you miss it once, at least 3 days is just under a week
