We didn't have high speed internet at the time of VMK so I only played a few times. It was really cute ~ I especially liked the fireworks game. The graphics and everything just didn't do well with dial-up though

12 of the 18 "WDW Polynesian Area Loop" tracks have been added in high quality (CD quality, full stereo, full quality sound, rather than the current versions which are mono, and sound like they were recorded over a telephone.) The stumbling block right now to completing all of them is that a couple of the source CDs are not available digitally, and they are quite expensive to purchase... Right now, they're in the mix, but they're queued up currently to play up after the full old loop (ironically).

Here's the listing of the tracks for the loop (including some of which I have not yet tracked down)

If I liked the Tahitian music, I would take the hit for the team, but I just don't care for the Poly music...sorry. $50 is a bit steep!

Thanks to a very generous person who shall remain nameless, there are now 33 more tracks on rotation of Dole Whip! (Just added "Chants Et Danses De Tahiti: Rythms and Songs From Polynesia")

The current tally for acquiring all of the Polynesian tracks in high quality is down to just two tracks. One is Unknown as far as artist/song, the other is a track I will likely buy on CD. (Ohta-san's "Poki's Blues")

Two more CDs worth of music added to Dole Whip - Benjamin Rogers - "Hawaiian Hospitality" and "Surf 'N Sand Under Hawaiian Skies". Word has it that some of his albums were used as the area music for the Polynesian before the mid-90s playlist change. I cannot find information about which albums, but it's likely that these two were in the mix. Enjoy!

I just updated the track "Poki's Blues" in the High Quality Polynesian Area Music section of tracks. This marks the final known track in the loop. There's one track left that has unknown credits. Once I know more about it, I will fill it in. Note that this single playlist is being worked on as another SSR stream called "Tangaroa Terrace" -- just the area music for the Polynesian Resort. (coming soon!)

I've also added another album of Herb "Ohta-San" Ohta music to the general Dole-Hwip playlist. It's really darn good stuff. If you like it, I highly recommend ordering it from Herb's son's website here: http://www.herbohtajr.com/index/shop/re ... okani.html
