When I first logged on the forum I was like..."umm...am I on the right site?!".

Does feel weird, doesn't it, MetalRage? I think Amy had it right with the Christmas analoggy - finding out all the new changes is like unwrapping another gift on Christmas morning...

I like the old version better. But, I'm not one that's good with change. I think it's harder to tell which forums have new messages and once you get into the forum, it's hard to see the new posts. I'll adjust though.

Now that the avatars and poster information is on the right hand side of the screen, I am going to have to get used to reading right to left. I always check who's post I'm reading before I actually begin to read the post. I manage software changes and user requests for programming changes and know it is not possible to please everyone but it does seem strange to have the poster info on the right. It is not natural. Is it just me?

Overall though it does look nice it is a more updated feel. With all the major changes the down time seems minimal. I love how the avatar identifies those users on-line. That is a great new feature.

Thanks Subsonic and team!

That's okay, BB, I feel the same way. The new version is interesting but I thought I had a problem until I read the thread.

Also, how do you get the new quote mechanism to work????

Oh, and we can see our post counts again. That's strange. So is the size of my pic, which really shrunk. I may need a new one.

Wow it is great to see the change has finally come! I do think we need to have a tutorial and training seminars so we can learn to use all of these new features. Thank you team subsonic for all the work you do!

Some great things that I have noticed that we didn't have before: report post tool, smilies are right there when you post and seems to run a bit smoother.

Quick bug that I noticed whihc I think coincides with the BB codes not linking on the front page is the "online users" are not showing up on the main home page.

Wow, it's looking pretty amazing! I'm going to take some time in getting used to the names/avatars being on the right side but it looks pretty spiffy and futuristic.

Is it just me or is the post reply box bigger now? That is nice :D
Still not fond of the alien-shaped smilies though :(

Thanks for the hard work guys!! As anything new, it's gonna take a little time to get used to the up grades. One thing I have notice, it's not showing who's on line on the main (Splash) page. It took a little while for our avatars to come back, but beyond that it seem to have gone real smooth!! It cool that you can make a friends list so when you PM there names are right there!! GREAT JOB!!! Thank you for making our home better!!

Sub you were kidding about taking the boards down every once in a while to get us on chat, weren't you??

PS How do I get my Photobucket emoticons, pictures and smilies to work

There still seem to be some bugs. The quote thing seems to have stopped working although it was working before.
And where did the emoticons go? And my other post is still messed up (see Mousoholic's reference above).
