Luckily I was able to get it playing this morning (11th listener). I'm blasting it all day at work for everyone. Today I came as a Guitar Hero (crazy orange wig, 311 band t-shirt, "ROCK!" and "STAR POWER!" written on my cheeks and, of course, the Guitar Hero controller). I can't wait to get back home for the trick or treaters! Happy Halloween everyone!

oh no! the WDW podcast just came on the Scheduled stream! Can we get the HM back up? :(

Happy Halloween - we're just back from trick or treating. The great thing about kids in braces is that they can't eat Snickers. Shame, they have to give them to dad. :P

Hope everyone had fun!

It's National Sugar Buzz Day! Can you still read this or is it shaking? If you can still see straight you have not had your fill of candy yet today! Go out there and eat up!

And tomorrow is National Candy Discount Day so just in case you haven't had your fill of sugar and chocolate yet you have a second chance to get totally wired!

So enjoy Halloween [thanks for the dedicated channel today!] and let's see if I can end yet another sentence in an exclamation point! [check!]

We didn't see a lot of trick or treaters. Our town has a lot of truck or treats this year. We even went to a couple, one at our church and one at a church down the road. There were many others, but we only went to the two. Is this something going on all over the country?

I know what you're saying, Jacca. My neighborhood was always popular when I was a kid, but now only a couple of houses even bother turning their lights on. I figured that's why the kids are skipping our block, but getting only 10 trick or treaters is really sad!

On the up side, we gave out full sized candy bars and there are lots of leftovers.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I remember not so long ago when churches put down Halloween. Now they're the ones with the truck or treats. Yea, it is kinda sad. We always love to see what the kids where going to come up with. I couldn't tell you we had 10 kids this year. Next year we'll most likely be in our church parking lot giving out candy at the "truck or treat". It's a sign of the times.
On a happy note: My family in Staten Island said they had more trick or treaters then last year.
On a sad personal note: Our 2 DS's (teenagers) told us this was their last year for trick or treat. Next year they would be going to parties. I wouldn't say this to my DW, I can't wait for grand kids. Don't get me wrong, I don't see that happening for 10 years or so, but I can dream!

Jacca isn't it sad when they outgrow the fun things of youth? My oldest spent last night filling out college applications while my younger two went out trick or treating. We had about 55 trick or treaters. We even had a couple of MOTHERS holding bags out for themselves! Can you believe it? I couldn't. My kids have more candy than one person should eat in a year! Anyway it was a nice night around our neighborhood. I haven't seen one pumpkin smashed in the road yet.
