96k Request Stream

Hi all the server that runs that stream is currently down. Hard Drive decided to abandon ship..sigh The member that runs that server is working on a replacement.

Soon as I have an update I will let you know.

Saw that today when I went to tune in ~ bummer. Glad they are working on a replacement ~ thanks again for all y'all do!

Hi all,

Sorry about that. It's back up. As Rich said, the server decided to die after 7 years. We're now running on a virtual server on top of a Mac Mini that I acquired tonight.

Forgive any bumps over the next few days please, as I'll be installing and adapting the new server to do all the things the old one used to do. It should be mostly stable, but this is a learning opportunity for me too.

Thank you for all that you do! I know you all sacrifice in order to provide the streams to us. I am really grateful! Btw I did a survey and interview with the people at D23 and told them that our family uses this site as an access to Disney stuff. We use it to listen to theme park music when not in the parks. Hope someday they will give you guys some recognition!

Hey guys! Might be the wrong place to ask, but what's going on with Scheduled? It's been down for a while now. It would be really awesome if that could be looked at, if you get time, though I'm sure you're busy with the request stream right now and you're probably cursing me for even asking!
I just wanted to finish off by saying I love this site, I stream the radio through winamp and it's just a great way to relax while working. Thanks

Sorry all -- the site when down when my Mac put itself to sleep. It's much better now that I woke it up and told it never to do that again.

Will check on the scheduled streams for you.

To all on the 96k requests stream; my apologies for the bumps and bruises tonight. I had to install a new router because I cooked the old one (too much traffic!). The new one will tolerate the pain a lot better.

RDeacon also made it so the user counts will show up for that stream again -- give me a huzzah if you see/talk to him!
