I've been traveling a lot the past month and unable to listen. Now I come back and my listening pleasure has doubled! The music sounds so much richer and deeper.

Thanks jgreco and Subsonic!! :D

Oh no! What happened to the 128 stream? That was my I.V. feed that kept me alive at work!

How can I hear Subsonic Radio better on my PC?

Post by Bullseye_Electric » Oct Sun 02, 2005 2:07 am

My computer is configured for 5.1 sound, but Subsonic Radio only plays through the tiny front channel speakers on my monitor. It sounds 'tinny'. CD's, on the other hand, playback through the complete 5.1 speaker system. I'm not much of a computer wizard, but is there a way I can configure my system to get the best listening experience from Subsonic?

Regards,

Mike

Broadcasting in full surround would require way too much bandwidth. Plus, nothing I have is in 5.1. I would suggest, while listening, to set your audio output properties to stereo.
