Select what you want, but at least .m3u and .pls. Restart Winamp. Files should now be a s s ociated. If it doesn't work after this, your brower isn't releasing what program a .pls should be opening with.

Hi -- I also was having problems connecting through Real Player. After reading through this thread about a month ago, I downloaded WinAmp, although I'm having trouble connecting through it, as well. I followed the instructions in the 9/21 post above, although I'm getting a message that says:
[ICY 403 Service Forbidden] HTTP://216.176.96.16:80
(then the last "04" of the address fades off the end of the bar)
Any ideas about what I need to do to connect? My SR withdrawal is getting to be too much to bear!
Thanks!

not http://216.176.96.16:80 like it says above.
also have you downloaded and tried the SR player? if your using windows than the player can work for you. Just click on 1 of the links below to try them out. they are free and very easy to use
Try this link to connect to the stations.jenipen wrote:I downloaded WinAmp, although I'm having trouble connecting through it, as well.

If you're trying to listen from work, it could be work blocking ports, which, once again, try the link above. There are streams on several different ports.
