Groundhog day

Hi guys. Great site, great work, very much appreciated.

I just want to check something with you. I tune in a little before 9am proper time

so that's about 04:00 Eastern. Several times this week I have tuned into the request stream to find that the DHS Entrance Loop with storm trooper chat is on. This morning I see this in the queue:-

Entrance Loop with Stormtrooper Chatter Edit 3:13 Add
Coming up
Main Theme 2:13 9:02am Add
Disneyland Paris - Disneyland Park - Shows - Les Parades En Musique - 22 - Wonderful World of Disney Parade - Pinocchio 1:32 9:05am

I'm pretty sure that it's the same each morning.

So I've heard the stormtrooper jokes enough times now so I have tried to listen to the scheduled stream and all I get is Matt announcing the end of a WDWToday podcast and then silence. Restart the stream and I hear the same ending. Try again a few minutes later and it's fine.

Am I imagining this? I'll make a note to check the playlist again on Monday morning.

Not urgent, no biggie. It could be a coincidence. Maybe Matt has hacked the request stream randomiser

HAHA.. great title for the post. We had two types of logic that picked tracks when there is no requests. One is random and one looks for less requested tracks. It could be that the logic keeps picking the same tracks. I threw in another rule that also picks an random track. Lets see if that mixes it up a bit.

HaHa Groundhog day of course, that is what has been happening to us for weeks.

I am pretty sure I could recite all the storm trooper chatters and could sing tapestry of dreams with speaking inserts as well.
I think it is because of the time in the morning that we come in Rodders, The British are up and about when most of our American cousins are still in bed, so it follows that we get the randomiser.

I was going to PM rdeacon about it but then thought he is a busy man and it's not really a problem, just a slight irritation leave it.

hmm... I might need to take out the one rule that ads the tracks that haven't been requests as much.

Not only did you have twice on Monday morning, I had a twice yesterday evening. It seems when it runs out requested music, it just automatically picks up the stormtrooper chatter as the first track for the "random" selection. I agree, I am tired of hearing it myself...
