Thanks rdeacon, I'll get on chat tonight when I am at home. At least I am in the office enjoying the 96K sound all day! I appreciate it!

It is windows 7 and Media player 12... They broke shoutcast.... It maybe the intro since i can listen to the into but not the stream... We should turn that off to see if that fixes it.

Seems to not be working again...don't know if a Windows 7 update changed the way it works or not... thought I would give a heads up!

Thought I'd give it a try once again as it wasn't working for a while and it still isn't. First, I received an error message that WMP "cannot open that kind of file". Then, I clicked on the channel again, and most of them launched the intro clip, then stops after that. Some of them currently WORK totally right now (Soarin 128k, Star Tunnel 128k, Holiday 128k), but the Requests, Schedule, and Background stations don't work at all (just get the intro). Anyone know why this might be? Are the ones that work coded differently than the ones that don't? Will this be fixed (like it was before for a little while)? I would love to listen to this station again and start requesting again, but it won't work for me! Please look into fixing this! :mickey:

So it seems like it is an issue with the streams that are run on the site which are linked into shoutcast. I believe the ones there is a difference in coding since they come from a different location. I personally have no idea how to fix it since I have yet to touch windows 7. However, I would advise you looking into getting a Mac. Upgraded to Snow Leopard and have not had a single issue! :D

But you can build a hacintosh! I do have plans to do that when I have more free time and a spare computer to play with of course. I still have a Vista machine which I absolutely hate. I have already had to redo the operating system three times on it. I am just hopeful that Windows 7 is slightly better than Vista.

Len90, if you want to build a hackintosh I would suggest this unit, a bit pricey at 189.99 but easiest way to do it.

EDIT: Just remember to go to the Supported Hardware page on the company's site to see what hardware you can use. You are somewhat limited but you still have a good selection of parts.
