Daylight Savings Time

Post by theBIGyowski » Mar Thu 26, 2009 9:32 am

I have noticed that the "Now Playing" stream updated for daylight savings time but the forums did not. I don't want to change my time on my profile because it will make the time on the stream off. Is there anything else I need to do?

I never noticed that problem but then again it's been a while since I've listened to the stream.

phpBB does not automatically adjust for Daylight Savings as not every state/country/continent "celebrates" or recognizes it. the only thing TO do is change the time in your profile. This seems to come up every year...

Kind of related to this... I haven't adjusted my settings for Daylight time, so I know why hours are off on things, but my PM notification emails are waaaaaay off. Like... I'll get a PM that's timestamped 4pm in here, but the email says it's at 9:36pm or something in the future.

Is that related to a DST issue, or the mailer issue from earlier? Or are people really traveling to the future to PM me, which would be cool.

The email might get delayed and we did have an issue with the email getting stuck. As for the DST js3901 is correct. I am looking into upgrading the forums to a new version of the software. Maybe that is one issue they have resolved.

Thanks js3901 and Rich for the responses. I have seen options for being able to choose daylight savings time adjustment as part of your user profile. I will look forward to the upgrade. Thanks again! :D
