Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 454 4.7.0 Cannot authenticate due to temporary system problem. Try again later. 39sm891017ugb.13

DEBUG MODE

Line : 134
File : smtp.php

I tried three times before the system would let me post. When it did let me post, it posted three times!

Jacca,

That sometimes happens if the email server hiccups.. which it seems it did. I will keep and eye on it.

BTW: I removed the extra posts :)

I've received a similar response twice today while posting:

General Error

Could not connect to smtp host : 110 : Connection timed out

DEBUG MODE

Line : 112
File : smtp.php

In both cases my post was accepted.

Yep, I got the same error, but after reading the above posts, I just returned to the index. My post posted, but only once.

edit: got it again when posting this.

The error

Could not connect to smtp host : 110 : Connection timed out

DEBUG MODE

Line : 112
File : smtp.php

Are do to the email server being swamped at the time. It doesn't effect the post, it will still go thru, it just effects the email notification.

I will dig into it and see if we can make it less common.

Thanks Rich for the info. I was wondering why I keep getting an error message every time I post.

I've been getting this message the past two days now but I've learned not to refresh and end up with double posts.

That's exactly what I've been doing. I hope this gets resolved soon!

I know that rdeacon is looking into it, and I, too, hope it gets resolved too. Amending posts (deleteing the duplicates), while easy, is a pain in the butt when there are so many of them...

Yeah, I have been noticing a lot of duplicate posts since this message started appearing. Hopefully, rdeacon can get it fixed!
