Forum Issue

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but it's started today. Every time I post a reply or go to a new thread/forum, I receive this notice:
phpBB : Critical Error
Could not connect to the database
I don't know what's up but I wanted to let you guys know.

I got that today a few times but I'm at work so I figured it was just a network conflict with phpBB and not a problem with Subsonic's database

I got this error today also. However I didn't really pay attention to the circumstances when it was happening.

I also got that error and extremely slow load times.

Yeah, I've seen this issue too. Usually it goes away if you wait a few minutes. We think it's because the site is seeing a lot of traffic.

I've noticed slower loading times for the forum pages and the playlist etc...it would make sense since there is alot of traffic on this site. It keeps growing!

Yeah we do get that error occasionally, and its due to a heavy load on the server. I will try to keep an eye on it.

It was totally slowed down during the 5th anniversary. I stay away from the boards for the last few days. It seems to be back to normal now.
