A friend and I have been talking about using the Linux operating system. Does Subsonic have a player that will work with it? This is one of my concerns about going with the Linux OS.

You can use any audio player that can handle .pls files to listen to SSR. On any OS, my player of choice is VideoLAN Client, aka VLC. Download VLC for Linux (in ubuntu, from the command line, you can do:
sudo apt-get install vlc
assuming you have the Universe repository available in your Synaptic Package Manager settings (under the System menu)).
Once VLC is installed and associated with the filetypes it supports, clicking the "listen" link on SSR will work fine.

Thank you! I'm just looking in to making the switch. It's going to be a big project.
