Can't Connect to Radio at all

But all the streams start from the .pls files.
TheMatt: Have you tried the 128k scheduled stream?

Yeah, both the 128k streams don't work while the others do. As for pls, MPD will connect to any Shoutcast stream just fine.
Like I said, it appears to be something with the transition from the 9-second intro and the stream that MPD just can't handle (either cutting out or just repeating the intro ad nauseum).
Looking at what mpc is reporting, when I connect to the 128k streams, it seems to see the intro as a separate file. It's reporting while it plays that the intro is 9 seconds long and gives me a countdown/progress bar like it does for an MP3 file. Thus, once that file is done, it is stopping since it thinks the stream is done. My guess is the guy who reported the repeating intro has repeat set to "on" so it's just repeating the intro. (ETA: Confirmed, setting repeat on just loops the intro forever.)
But, with the 24k and 64k streams, it sees the intro as part of the stream itself. There is no progress bar or anything, just like other Shoutcast streams I've used.
Is there a difference in how that intro is incorporated into the stream between the 24/64 and the 128k streams?

I'm going through withdrawl. I've changed work locations and can no longer receive Subsonic Radio. I can get Laughing Place radio (which doesn't hold a candle to Subsonic, IMHO) and Radio Margaritaville, but my favorite spot now gets me the following message:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the server is not responding. If you entered a URL or path to play the file, verify that it is correct. If you clicked a link to play the file, the link may not be valid."
Winamp is no better. At least I can still listen from home.

Have you tried all the links from this page?
http://www.subsonicradio.com/station/listen.php
Also, try coping "http://129.79.9.25:8000/" and in WMP right click on the top bar: File > Open URL and paste that in

Have you tried using the Subsonic Radio Player. If you can Listen with that Great. If you can not listen using that player then It would have to be that you are being blocked some how.Disneys America wrote:I'm going through withdrawl. Thanks for all of the suggestions. it looks like I'm blocked. I guess Radio Margaritaville, Laughing Place radio and the others that I CAN hear must be using other ports or something.
Sub, thanks for a great station and keep up the good work. You've got the best station for Disney theme park audio & music on the net.
