The computer says I have 8 points left, yet when I click on a song worth 8 pts it says I do not have enough pts left.
I'm just guessing based on accidental issues I've had with my points.

Hmmm. Try refreshing your page perhaps. Maybe the counter ended up confused (if, perhaps, you'd hit "back" while requesting songs) so its not giving you an accurate number.

Just an idea since I don't know the guts of the code, but it could be a rounding issue. Since the songs are basically a point per second, a song showing 8 pts (8 seconds) could actually be 8.4 seconds long in which case it would be 8.4 pts but only shows the 8. Then when calculating pts available (8) minus the requested song (8.4), the calculation comes up negative, indicating that not enough points remain.
