I periodically receive a message from Windows XP that says "A script is running on this page that may make Internet Explorer run slowly. Do you want to allow the script to continue running?"
If I terminate the script, things still seem to work OK.
Did not receive this message prior to the implementation of the background music feature. I don't know if they might be related.

Which page(s) do you see this error?
Also what version of Internet Explorer are you running?
Thanks

The error message pop-up appears when I'm using the "now-playing" screen. But,
I suspect that this mesage is not due to anything at SubSonic. I have logged onto SubSonic from three different machines, all running the same version of Windows XP and Internet explorer. The message only comes up on my desktop machine, so I think the problem is with some other software I have on that machine. I don't want to waste your time looking for a ghost. I'll do some more research and will get back with you if there are still problems.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Roger

Maybe it's the fact that there's a timer that keeps reloading the now playing page section and IE doesn't know how to handle it because the whole page doesn't reload.
Hmmm, the only way around this is to reload the whole page. Perhaps I should remember that as a user preference.

Yeah, I'm getting it too. Just started this week, though.

I am getting as well with Vista. Reloading the page takes care of it for some time. I imagine that is what going on however it does seem to be a new problem as well.

I wonder if there was some update for IE which is causing the bug. We haven't changed that code in a while, so it doesn't make sense why it's just started happening.

I have been getting the same message and it started this last week as well. I noticed that it pops up when I go to a new page such as if I try to leave the now playing page and go to the forums.

Yup...thats what happens to me too. It started happening like last week sometime. Maybe it has to do with the page refreshing all the time?? Its not really that big of a headache though to tell you the truth.

I agree it's not that big of a deal. Just one of those things that makes you say Hmmmm.
