I notice this a lot with streaming media. I see gaps on other Disney and non-disney sites. Sometimes it's way off. I don't think you as a receiver can do anything about it.

the reason for this is all because it isn't sinked up correctly with the player you can also see sometimes that the player says the song is done but it doesn't it will also get caught into a loop normally around 10 sec it has to do with sinking.

There really isn't a delay on the now playing page. It's pretty accurate with the actual server.

What you are seeing is your media player playing out of its buffer. Most players allow you to specify the size of this buffer. And the larger the buffer the more stable your connection will seem. If you get a lot of rebuffering events, you can increase your buffer size. Doing this will slow down the time it takes for your player to initially start playing.

If anyone needs help setting their buffer size, we'd be happy to help. 8)

Correct Sockfire. The time you are seeing IS the actual server.

Like Sockfire said, the buffer in your player creates the "out of sync" that you are seeing. Most players default buffer length are different they also differ depending on the bit rate. Even if you set your buffer to zero I'm guessing the timer will still be out of sync considering the time it takes for information to get from the server to you.

I've noticed the same thing - the timer on the SR radio player and on the playlist are often out by up to 10 seconds.

The best way to fix this would be to visit Sub and plug in your headphones to his server box. (giggle)
