Request problems.

Hey guys I'm having problems trying to make requests for some reason, I know i've been missing for a month or two (uni work has been a killer!), but i dont think the system has changed.
I have plenty of points left, over 2000. The song i want to hear is in white, not red or grey, and its not already in the song list waiting to be played.
Any ideas whats up? :?:

I've been watching the streams lately, and today it looks like the server keeps going off the air (server unavailable) every 10 - 15 minutes or so. that could have an impact on requests.

Same Problem

you're not alone. I can't request either. Maybe we are on the "bad child" list :)

Fair enough, it's just being odd! I can live with that. It let me have my track, but wont let me request again despite having around 2000 points, but i dont mind now i have my Tapestry of Nations! :D

I can't request either. Something's wrong. Just need to wait for Sub to have the time to fix it I guess.

People, PLEASE. I usually only check the forums once a day. If there's server problems please Instant Message me about it. Sometimes I don't check the station nor forums for several days.

I don't think anyone was complaining. Far from it, just having a little fun during the wait and strolling for possible answers.

Yeah but sub wants to run a tight ship and he can't do that if we don't mention to him when stuff is all wonky.

You misunderstand what I'm saying. I want to know immediately when there's station problems. The fastest way is via IM.

I don't think people want to be that big a bother...I know this is your "baby" but I'm sure you have a job/school to do. This isn't your main means of income...in fact you said you lose on it. I think people are just trying to be polite.

things like this aren;t a big bother to him though. He just wants the site to be the best it can be. he's a web designer and this is kinda his showcase. he has never gotten mad at me when I tell him about this stuff, so people shouldn't be afraid...

Bingo. Myself and every other designer I know wants to know as soon as someone sees even a hair out of place, whether its in the site itself, our web apps, copy, whatever.

But then again, maybe we're just anal ;-)

All I'm saying is if something as big as not being able to request or the stream being down, please IM me. If people post a problem like that in the forums it could potentially be down for days.

I've just requested "Walt Disney World - Animal Kingdom - Safari Village - March of the artimals [1 of 5]." The track costs 722 points and is displayed as being over 12 mins long. Just thought I'd let you know that it in fact only lasts 2 mins or so.
