You're way too young to be that cynical! You need have several years of being burned on several projects gone bad in the corporate world to develop that kind of cynicism. And I should know.... 
Change that benefits those involved is a good thing. Change to truely improve things is a good thing. Change for the sake of change - the most popular - is just stupid. Unfortunately, the first two examples of change are rare.
