Yeah, getting the hang of that was helpful. Need to have a look at the photos at some point. Took quite a lot of DreamLights last night, although they're going to need cleaning up.. Some of them are a bit noisy.
Too noisy would mean you bumped your iso up too high. Try opening up your aperture more by going to a lower f-stop and see if you could still get a clear shot if you were to slow down your shutter speed just a bit.

Last night I took some night shoots of the Brandenburger Tor and Reichstag in Berlin. This is my favourite photo.

The rest of the Photos are here. I dont like every photo because sometomes it looks to bright but it was just for testing.

Yeah, I had another go tonight. Much better results. These are straight off the camera with no fiddling (other than resizing):

I've loads to go through, but it likely ain't gonna happen until I get home next week :P

Here's another I meant to add to those. This one was the result of three days of attempting to catch it :)

Nicely done acp.

Here is a quick treat for everyone. This was taken from the balcony of my hotel room this year. The weather was absolutely perfect at night that I decided to play around.

Ta :)

I pretty much got the hang of it as the trip went on. I got quite a few not-bad photos of the Electrical parade (which was the bit that proved the most difficult to shoot). I ended up using manual mode (!) and just about got it to work. The characters, which obviously aren't as well lit as.. well.. the lights.. didn't come out great, but the floats came out quite well.

I need to have a good look through the photos I've taken at some point. I'll be uploading them to my Flickr account when I've got round to it.

<edit>Speaking of Flickr, I just quickly went over to my Flickr page to check that link worked. When did Flickr's design change? :o</edit>

In the meantime, here's another hasitly-edited one to keep you going: (I'm in the departure lounge at Narita Airport as I type this.. They have free wifi :) Also, it's quite hot in here...)

Mickey in The Legend of Mythica. At the end of the show, the barge he's on floats around Mediterranean Harbour so you can get better photos (he's a bit too far away for my lens during the main show), and so the guests can wave at Mickey.

I actually ended up sitting out most nights and just taking it all in. Probably the most relaxing thing I ever did.

Here's another quick favorite of mine: http://www.flickr.com/photos/93082249@N02/8810507197/

I've been working my way through some of my photos from Tokyo. I've uploaded a few (although no Disney ones yet, just a few general Tokyo ones and some from the Ghibli Museum) to my Flickr already, and more are on the way soonish.

A couple of things I've noticed include that I apparently have a natural lean to one side, since a lot of my photos (and I've noticed this before, too) tend to be not level and need correcting  and that a lot of them are quite noisy, probably due to me forgetting to change settings after using the camera the previous night (and I've also discovered that somehow I managed to enable the auto-ISO setting, which apparently makes odd decisions and doesn't help much.)

It's not all bad, however. Here's one I found amongst the Disneyland ones. All together now... Awww:

You know, I've just realised something.

As above, I took this photo at Tokyo Disneyland just over two weeks ago:

Back in 2010, I took this photo at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom:

Apparently I'm good at timing. Or something.
