I snapped some pics with my phone while at the Lincoln Park Zoo a couple of weeks ago...I'm working on getting them fixed for posting.

Whoo~hoo! I missed this month's winter day because I had to work, and it's looking like next month's winter day will be out too as there is a cooking demonstration that F1gment and I usually attend each year on that very same day. Glad I made it to the January day!

Hmm that does answer some, but how did you break out of your exhibit area? That had to be the toughest part.

I'll start working on it! We even have a Zoo that has a drive through section! You can drive you car (or rent theirs) through and see lions, giraffes, elephants, deer, rhinos and so on. It's about 45 minutes. It was so fun!

They had one of those, I believe they are called Safari Parks, in West Palm Beach years ago. One of the park rangers had to stop an elephant for pushing my car out of the way. It was VERY exciting.

Amy? Do they have Gorillas? Just asking.

That drive thru section sounds interesting! I don't think I would like an elephant trying to push my car around though
The zoo that is close to us is fairly small Jacca. No gorillas, but some very large chimpanzees. Sadly, also no elephants or giraffes

We used to have a drive through section at Six Flags here. They have just recently done away with it though.
