For anyone that is interested, I am starting up a fantasy hockey league. It will be a yahoo based league with a weekly roster setting. I sent out emails to some of the football managers, but some have their email listed as hidden so I couldn't invite all. If interested message me, pm me, etc.

That sounds like fun! I actually watch a little more hockey than football. I understand those rules better Plus our college had a great hockey team so I spent a lot of Friday nights pounding on the glass supporting the team

Okay so for the hockey league it will be a bit different than football. If you have played fantasy baseball it will be very similar to that. Your team will go against another team for one week. You set your lineup I believe every day though. Their are distinct categories that are scored like goals, assists, saves, wins (goalies) etc. If you score more goals than your opponent you get a point which is like a win. Seeding is based off of total points (wins) you get. It's a bit tough to explain but trust me it is really easy. All you have to do is really set a lineup every day.

I think I'll try it. Having to remember to set the line up every day might be a challenge, but it sounds like fun

No Disney theme for the hockey league as of right now. If anyone wants to come up with one let me know.

Draft is being pushed back due to lack of teams and the current NHL lockout. We will not be drafting tomorrow night!

Whoo~hoo ~ draft tonight. I am a little less prepared for this than football. Not as sure on all the positions and haven't heard of a lot of the players or teams. So much for me knowing slightly more about hockey than football

I don't think it is tonight Amy. We only have 5 teams so it won't let us draft and I think Len was moving it due to the delay of Hockey season.
