Anyone know a good tut on Torrents..

I really am looking at how to get virus/malware free ones.. or a very good program to scan with. I have been running them through AVG free, but is that good enough? I also use SuperAnti spyware.

Any good sites to download from?

Are you referring to a torrent program or a site to download torrents from? If it's a program, utorrent is what I use. If it's a site, what are you trying to download?

I am using Utorrent.

Scan them before or after they are done in utorrent? If before, I don't think there's a real way to do that as you are downloading from numerous sources. After, just use your regular anti-virus software to scan the folder you downloaded to.
