How come the stream is interrupted sometime, even another track will start up in the middle of another one, and then revert back to the first one?

Sounds like it is switching between the back-up server and the standard. try this link to see if it helpshttp://www.subsonicradio.com/faq.php#skipping

it's that for a few moments you're getting the backup server, like Eagle4life said. The servers are playing 2 different songs at the same time, but you'll always connect to the main before the back-up. It'll be like this:

Main server - Muppetvision 3d complete attraction
Backup - Pirates of the Caribbean float through
Main server - Muppetvision 3d complete attraction

It happens sometimes, at this point, the only thing we can say is live with it as best you can. If/when it can be fixed, it will be.

My DSL was acting up. Anybody know of a cheap ISP to put a windows box at?

Also because of how the relay system works if a relay looses its connection wether or not the main went down it reverts to the backup and everyone on that relay will get backup music until the current song on the backup is over.

I have seen my relay do this a few times, though it wasn't obviously a fault on my side since I was connected to it remotely and would have been booted if it had lost all connection to the outside world.

In any case its not a perfect system. You get what you pay for ;)

Yes. Perhaps it's time to start asking for donations and make the setup a little more professional.

I would be willing to make a contribution for the enjoyment this music brings me.

Hehe, for the lack of effort I've been putting in, I don't deserve donations :)
