Trader Vic's

Post by Fantasrick » May Thu 12, 2005 2:07 pm

I had dinner last night at Trader Vic's in Beverly Hills. It is awesome, expensive, but worth it the food is awesome and the atmosphere reminded me of a Disney style place. Either the Polysnesian resort or the old Enchanted Tiki room. I know Trader Vics has been around longer than Disneyland and Disney World as Trader Vics opened in 1934,so perhaps they took some inspiration from that restaurant. If you are in the LA area and want a unique Polynesian 5 star dining experience, I recommend Trader Vic's.

It's Subsonic (as far as I know) showing off the arms/hands from one of his Halloween projects, along with a heart (long story from a long time ago). There were threads about it before that may have been deleted in Sub's pruning efforts. Both Sub and Shinku could tell you the story as they're the ones "involved"

Well I appreciate the explanation nonetheless.

For the record, Sub and I are no longer "involved" ;)

But yes, that's our very own Subsonic acting like a goofball. I snagged the pic out of his collection that he had going while he was making his haunted house.

And yes, that is a heart. Anyone who's talked with me in IRC knows I am notorious for adding them for no apparent reason.

There's always a reason for you, Darren :)

And yes, I was working on photoshopping our BEAUTIFUL potential spawn and then we had irreconsilable differences and now little Indi and her brother Buzz will never be. Blame Subsonic.
