Or watches a Pixar movie. I hope they dedicate the next one to his memory.
Very true. I honestly think that none of us can go about a single day without benefiting from a product or idea that Steve Jobs had.
Even if you don't have an ipod or a iphone, you probably have a product that was created as a result of the competitive markets it created. Would there be android smartphones if the the iphone hadn't come first?

Probably since the smart phone existed prior to the iphone and Apple wasn't the first computer company to get into the market (MS had them beat by 6 years).

I agree with that, but I really think Droid wouldn't have existed if it weren't for the iPhone.

Agreed. Honestly, can't imagine not using Apple products. I used to be devoted to PCs before I got my Mac last spring and it's the best electronic I've ever owned. I can't understand how people can still use PCs.

I built my PCs and maintain them. I don't have the same options with a MAC.

You actually do, but technically competent people don't run OSX. :D

Though they do get bitchy when you run anything other than Linux.

I run PC because with multiple computers in the house and on my home network it just makes the whole system so much easier to maintain. I can fix any part of it, including the laptop. Also they all speak the same language. Years ago when I got my degree all we had were PCs. Although it is an ongoing learning process, I guess you stick with what you know.

I like knowing that if need be I can take it apart and put it back together!!Image

I've opened up and worked on MacBooks already. I even have opened up mine which is still covered under warranty to fix it. My pc is just always breaking so it gets really old very fast to repair it. Our house is almost all Mac and runs an apple network. It's easy to maintain and works pretty well.

Not necessarily. If you take apart enough computers, you should eventually have enough parts for a whole 'nother computer!

Baloo swears I do. I'm the guy people give their old computers to.

Yes they do. Do you want a few 2 to 5 gig hard drives?? You'd be amazed at how many people think when you delete files they go away!! Also for some reason people think that when a HD crashes it's gone. Besides losing information, you can just reformat and use it.

PS If the inverter on a laptop goes bad, you just have to replace it. Although if you gonna throw it away, send it to me!!

I know, there is tons of money in extortion from the discarded HD's.
