Hopefully it isn't a complete clone of the one here in Orlando. Judging by the concept art, it doesn't look like it. Manta is amazing here!

I've never been to Sea World Orlando but I agree hopefully it isn't just a clone. It's about time Sea World San Diego got something with some speed!

I just saw a video of it and it is nothing like the on in Orlando. It's a sitting coaster with a launch and no inversions. That, to me at least, makes the one here in Orlando a lot better!

There are two reasons I love Manta far more than I typically love standard, un-themed rollercoasters:

1) The stomach-down ride format is some of the most fun I've ever had on an attraction and way more thrilling and cool than what any other rollercoaster offers (other than X, I haven't tried that).

2) The aquarium queue line is really neat. Might be my favorite queue line on the planet, more even than Indy, just because of how much fun it is to watch aquariums while standing in line. I wish Disney would do something like that.

But without facing down, and without inversions, I can't imagine liking it that much.

Another thing I've read: It is a different manufacturer than the one in Orlando.

I've also heard Edward Scissorhands music in there too.
