They are more like the new Tokyo or a combo of Vegas and... I guess a Disney park.
That Ferrari park is awesome (according to a coworker).

I agree its more like Las Vegas than Disney. Also, Dubai wanted a "Disneyland Dubai" but Disney decided against it.

Disney has denied the rumors that any amusement park being built at Haifa will be a Disneyland park. There's only 20 acres - that's small for a Disney theme-park and an entertainment complex.Wizzard419 wrote:Especially now that they are building in Israel.

Ah, I'm sure the rumor will just go away without any issue then.

If Disney wouldn't build an Israel into EPCOT's World Showcase for reasons of controversy and safety, then why would they even invest an incredible sum of money to build a theme-park there?

Originally, when the park opened, they had signs posted for three future countries to be added: Spain, Israel, and Morrocco. Of the three, only one got built.

And this is why we have NDAs.
Well not for that exact reason but for unauthorized dissemination of information.

And Morocco is awesome!! I think that it is one of the prettiest pavilions I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the King of Morocco had a lot of involvement in the pavilion's design and execution...mindflipper wrote:Originally, when the park opened, they had signs posted for three future countries to be added: Spain, Israel, and Morrocco. He did, I think it's the only pavillion that still has sponsorship from the home country as well.Amy wrote:And Morocco is awesome!! i wonder what that millenium pavaillion looks like now, i have some fond memories of being there, and the israel simulator ride was pretty awesome too.
i dont know what they could have done with that tech, they should just reopen that area, and maybe add some new ones like UAE or Australia or something

i remember hearing about this too. all the tile was imported from morocco and its uncanny how realistic it feels when your walking thru the corridors in the back of morocco , it doenst even feel like disney.
