Didn't they use to sell various gold coins and tiny bars at Disneyland in the 90's? Not currency size, but the mostly useless size they sell in those machines.

In 2001 they tried to sell a solid gold mickey, I forgot if it sold or not. Either way it was the epitome of "So 9/10" since that was last day of the Disneyana convention.

i bought a 25th anniversary silver coin there back in 1996... i think silver has risen in price so much that its now almost worth as much as i paid for it
