Cool & Creepy Video Of Six Flags New Orleans After Katrina

Check out this video it's really surreal. Six Flags New Orleans was abandoned in 2005 after Katrina, it is now going to be torn down.

Wow, that was very moving. How sad all those images are, and that is just a theme park. All those lives forever changed by that storm. Thanks for sharing the link.

Anybody want to buy an amusement park kit??? Cheap, you pay moving cost!!
Actually it's in a lot better shape then I thought it would be in. I don't see them doing a total demo on it. It looks like some things can be sold and refurbished to live another day. It kinda sad to see that it was just abandoned and left. Such a waste!!
I'm surprised that there hasn't been a few movies shot there. Discovery could use it for "Life After People'!!

Wow, that was pretty intense. I think the music is what really made it so moving. Amazing that they never came back and restored it, but I guess I can see why. They were probably not doing very well anyway, even before the storm. Afterwards, a lot of the people never came back, which made it even worse. I can say with certainty that a huge number of them moved here to Houston and stayed. New Orleans will never be the same.

What a sad video. I agree with M-dude that the music really adds a lot. It is very haunting...

Actually it made me think of "If I have to kick one of them into the horde it will probably be the old guy, but be sure to take his guns/munitions first".
