Fundraising for Give Kids the World!

Next Thursday, the Cedar Fair parks are hosting a fundraising event for Give Kids the World called Coasting for Kids. Mum (nancynohorse) and I jumped on the bandwagon to participate at Cedar Point and help fundraise because we are a wish family from 1987 and 1992; we benefited from GKTW's generosity to children with life-threatening illnesses as my brother had suffered with muscle cancer in that era of our lives. It also just so happens that Coasting for Kids takes place on the anniversary of Erik's passing - July 29!

I feel awkward about posting our fundraising links since nancynohorse and I are infrequent posters on the forums lately, though we are frequent music requesters! But, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask my fellow Disney fanatics who know the power and magic off Disney and Central Florida. Donations go directly to help support Give Kids the World's efforts in Florida, readying accommodations, transportation and extra events for wish kids and their families, sometimes with a 24-hour turn around to make this happen! They were surely magical on Erik's trips back in the day, and they're able to do even more for the kids and their families with their Kids Village today.
