I liked the begging Amy picture myself. It has a great smile, shows an excellent sense of humor, and conveys a friendly image.

Well...I am sad to announce that I received an email from the museum this evening informing me I am not among the semi-finalists

I take a little comfort in the fact that over 1500 people applied...Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement and everyone's support...guess I will have to work in October after all and not play in the museum ~ darn it all

As mindflipper stated (and backed by personal experience) it is best worth trying and being unsuccessful than to sit back and not put forth any effort and wonder what could have been if you tried. Eventually you will be successful and it will make all the effort you put forth even more worth it in the end.
