Google Chrome

Post by Jacca5660 » Jun Wed 23, 2010 12:47 am

Is anybody using Google Chrome? I've been using Firefox and am interested in what Google has to offer. I just don't know anybody that is using Google Chrome yet. Your insight would be appreciated.

I must say it is a lot faster than Firefox. I wasn't inundated with a bunch of needless toolbars and such when I installed it and theres all but one or two (address bar and bookmarks). It was a while before I realized how to add a bookmark (star next to the address bar) but that was the only thing I had trouble with.

We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

That is what we use...it seems ok most of the time, although some times it locks up...or that might just be our computer...but then ccleaner does the trick ;)
It is super easy to have multiple tabs open at once and go between as often as necessary...great for people with short attention spans and very little patience

It is faster and smoother than any other browser I use. If you mistype an email address, it automatically looks it up on google. In addition, you can type any word in the address bar and do a google search. Now that is efficient.

I tried Google Chrome and liked it, but, some of my work websites could not use it. It is very fast! It is easy! but I am waiting until more websites support it.

I use it every day quite a bit. I do a lot of ordering and I find it handles shopping carts the best, never loosing or adding stuff. Explorer gave me a hard time with that. Searching Google and having lots of tabs open is extra easy with chrome. Built in form software is a plus also.
