To anyone that is or will be in the Southeast Michigan area the first weekend in June you are invited to Great Lakes Fright Fest ( http://www.greatlakesfrightfest.com ). The event is a charity Haunted gathering, we have classes teaching you all sorts of things about how to build Halooween props, do make up, learn Photography (I do that one), and much much more. Oh and we do this little thing called a Haunt House it does have an admission price ONE CANNED GOOD for a local food bank, St, Anne's Parrish, and we also benefit a local Animal shelter Monroe county.
If you are a Subsonic member you are now invited to GLFF, come on down, up, over to see all the cool things that we do. This will be the tenth year and we are going ALL OUT. We will have a haunted Midway, hearses, DRAG-U-LA (from the munster's), and FREE FOOD (well almost free, it is a pot luck on Saturday so bring something). If you are a fan of Halloween this is something you will NOT want to miss.
Where: Totem Pole Park Campground google maps
When: June 4th-6th With June 5th being the day/night of the haunted house.
Why: 3 reasons. 1st - We want to help those in need and the summer is the slowest time of the year for food banks. 2nd - This gives attendees 5 months to re-create anything that they see here. 3rd - because we all want to hangout and have fun, I myself drive over 10 hours to get there from Philadelphia, and I know a guy is flying from Hawaii this year, and many more from all parts of the USA and Canada.
