I don't know how many of you guys out there watch Dancing with the Stars, but they are having for the first time ever, a dance-off between some colleges. Tonight was University of San Diego vs. Purdue.

Apparently you can go online and vote for your favorite college dance team.

I immediately thought of Boilerbabe and her Boilermakers!!!!

Go Purdue!

EDIT: Forgive me, I learned that the other school that participated tonight was UC San Diego.

I am going to try and watch next week. Rutgers will be performing on that episode (May 18). Please vote for the Scarlet Knights!

I have never heard of this before but it's good to know that there are colleges doing this.

Oh, this makes it difficult now...Purdue and Rutgers...I will vote for both!

I've been watching Dancing with the Stars, this is the first season ever I've watched and I usually only watch on Mon. nights. I didn't know Purdue was going to be on!!! I wonder if I'm still too late to vote? Did anyone watch and was Purdue any good?

They weren't bad, but UCSD was slightly better. The judges gave UCSD 1 point more than Purdue. I'm not sure how long the voting is open though.

This might make this show a little more interesting to watch. I watched a few seasons but tuned out when the background singers weren't very good. The last time I flipped through channels they sounded better but I got out of watching it...how is eveyone's colleges doing?

It seems like there's only a couple of weeks where they're doing it...but I'm not sure. It also looks like the voting is just right after the show airs...like the regular voting for the stars. I usually watch the show, just because I used to take ballet many moons ago and dancing was always a passion of mine. However, the good Lord didn't want me to dance for I was forced to quit, then given a very un-dancer-like body....oh well...that's beside the point.

Len mentioned that the Rutgers team will dance next week, however I don't know who they will be up against.

They will be up against Utah Valley University. Let's go R-U!!!
