I've had this AIM account for awhile, but I hardly ever log into it to chat. With facebook and twitter (which i do not have) seems IM is going the way of the dodo bird.
SplshLover if'n ya wanna add me...

I have an AIM account, but I rarely log on. I usually use fb to take care of chatting or text messaging. It really seems like there is not much of a use for instant messagers anymore.

I don't think many people use instant messagers anymore either. If they are inclined to talk that way they probably just text instead.

I still use AIM. I use it a good amount each week. Most of my friends still use it as well.

I use Trillian so logging into AIM is the same as Yahoo or MSN to me, but I don't currently talk to anyone over AIM.
On a similar note, just the other day I was thinking about AOL and how H U G E they were for a while. Remember when their floppy disks were all over the place (before CD's). Crazy.

Yeah they still make AIM. I think it is the only product that AOL has anymore. Remember the days of dial-up?

No Len, I was talking about the toothpaste called Aim. And yes, we were on dial-up out here in the sticks until about a year ago. When we finally got DSL is when I could actually listen to SubSonic smoothly - except for when my computer is being bad...

I use AIM (casrinator) although I'm not a very chatty person by nature anyway so I tend to put as much dead-air into IM as I do a phone conversation.

Duh! I should have realized that. Yeah they supposedly still make that stuff. I just don't know where you can get it.

Len90 is maybe too young to remember that toothpaste, but I haven't seen on the shelves for a few years.
