Yes, yes...we're all HUGE Disney fans...

BUT

I know everyone has other interests.

So, what's your favorite movie(s)? (for those who are indecisive like me)

I'd have to say my all-time fave is "The Princess Bride". Hubby rolls his eyes at me every time it's on because I recite the entire movie...it's like second nature.

There are several others that are runners-up, but this post would get far too long :)

That's a very hard question! Give me some time to think on it. I may have to go by decade.

Oh my darling Westley! *throws self down cliff*

I love the Princess Bride, too. An excellent film.

My absolute faves are Lord of the Rings (which I view as one huge 12 hour film and tend to watch all at once when I have a free day), and the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice. Mmmmm Colin Firth

Other non-Disney favorites include Kung Fu Hustle, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Beetlejuice, Better Off Dead, the Goonies, Iron Man (mmmmm Robert Downey Jr.), L.A. Confidential, the new Star Trek, the Empire Strikes Back, Tropic Thunder, Silence of the Lambs, and Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

I'm not sure if they count as Disney or not, because Disney did the English dub, but I have to give a shout out to Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. Miyazaki's films are so wonderful.

I have a soft spot for The Sound of Music, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - the original, although I really like the fly-over of the doll hospital in the new Willy Wonka  The Doll Hospital and Burn Center, it's relatively new

I have a lot that I consider my favorite.

Star Trek, Red Eye, Stand By Me, The Outsiders, The Hangover, Shawshank Redemption, The Mighty Ducks, Pixar Films, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure/Bogus Journey, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kill Bill 1-2, Moulin Rogue, The Lost Boys....

And some more though that's all I know of right now.

Star Wars (original Trilogy, mostly), Back to the Future Trilogy, Alien/Aliens, Predator, Jaws, Ace Ventura, Indiana Jones Trilogy (Crystal Skull... not so much), E.T., Saw, Braveheart, Titanic (mostly because it is the most accurate movie portraying what happened that night), Casablanca, Wizard of Oz, Gone With The Wind, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Cloverfield, An American Tail.

I'm sure I have more, but I just woke up...

I was watching an episode of Ugly Betty with my mother and Carol Kane was a guest star...all I could think of was:
CK: "Bye bye boys"
BC: "Have fun storming the castle"
CK: "Think it will work?"
BC: "It would take a miracle"
BOTH: "Bye!"
(for anyone who may not know, this is a conversation between Carol Kane and Billy Crystal's characters in "The Princess Bride"...there was anothe scene I thought of too, but it's too long to post :))

Lots of great movies mentioned already! I'll put up a few in a little while....

Soooo many to choose from. If I were to be stuck with just a hand full of movies to watch for the rest of time as we know it....

Armageddon (not sure what it is about this movie, but if it's on TV and I try to watch just a little bit of it, I get stuck to the end, EVERY time)

The Usual Suspects

Muppet Christmas Carol (Love the music!)

Young Guns I & II ("it's not your gang Dave")

Jeff Dunham - Arguing with Myself (crack me the frick up. Never fail to laugh til I cry)

My homemade WDW vacation video (actually more-so picture slide-show with corresponding music)

I love Jeff Dunham's specials. My mom and I watch them whenever they're on.

"Always" the Speilburg movie about flying.

"Rocketeer" a Disney movie about flying, and

"The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy", the original - though I liked the Disney version, the original told more of the story.

I'm gonna have to bust out my copy of YG II...(I'll make ya famous) My friends and I used to watch that movie all the time! (Emilio Estevez, Christian Slater, Balthazar Getty, Lou Diamond Phillips...wow! Not to mention a younger, leaner William Petersen (Grissom anyone?))

DH and I have Jeff Dunham's Spark of Insanity nearly memorized (and we had to get all of the specials on DVD)! JD used to come to Vegas all the time (and cheap ticket prices) but we never got around to seeing him. :(
My favorite part of Arguing with Myself is when Peanut is trying to decipher where they are... (in he**...sa-nata-a-na :)...we can't pronounce Santa Ana properly anymore)
